The V-pattern could be known as mirrored imaged weave. Many years ago, the carbon fiber hood for racing car was made by two pieces of carbon fiber sheets, because in that period one piece of carbon fiber sheets is not wide enough to cover whole hood.
Fast forward to today, with advances in weaving of carbon fiber weaving technology and Superb manual laying technology, the width of carbon fiber cloth can reach to 1000~1500mm, and the V-shaped symmetrical pattern has been developed, which is very suitable for carbon fiber car parts, like carbon fiber hood, roofs, trunks, spoiler, engine cover and interior trims.
