Future is capable of producing carbon fiber square tube by both mold pressing and pultruded techniques. Because the carbon fiber filaments of the pultrusion process are all oriented in one direction, the transverse strength is relatively poor; the molding process can increase the strength of the carbon fiber by changing the laying direction of the prepreg.
