The electroplating process of electroplating glass fiber cloth is the principle of using electrolysis to deposit a metal coating with good adhesion but different performance from the base material on the glass fiber base cloth product. The electroplated glass fiber cloth uses aluminum as the coating material, and the thickness ranges from a few microns to tens of microns. The purpose of using aluminum electroplating on the glass fiber base cloth is to change the surface properties of the base cloth to enhance the corrosion resistance of the glass fiber base cloth, increase hardness, prevent abrasion, smoothness, heat resistance and surface aesthetics.
