With the requirements for modern rail trains such as lightweight, energy saving and emission reduction, and operational reliability, the application of composite materials in the rail transit industry has been widely recognized and supported. Rail transit materials made of composite materials have the characteristics of light weight, high strength, simple process, strong designability, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and good impact resistance. At present, it is mainly used to manufacture train heads, car bodies, interior decorations, sanitary facilities and some rail facilities, providing a feasible material selection solution for lightweighting in the rail transit field.
Flame-retardant epoxy prepregs include glass fiber system, carbon fiber system and aramid system, etc. The resin system uses modified epoxy resin, a combination of halogen-free flame retardant and latent curing agent, which has excellent flame retardant properties.
Flame-retardant phenolic prepregs include glass fiber system, carbon fiber system and aramid system, etc., which have excellent flame retardant properties. Flame-retardant phenolic prepregs can be formed by autoclave or molding process, and are mainly used for rail transit interior sun-burning components.
Prepregs can be formed using autoclave or molding processes, with a curing temperature of 100~160°C and a wide range of options.
