Although the carbon fiber itself is resistant to high temperatures, the carbon fiber tube contains resin, and the high-temperature resistance of the resin is not high, and the weathering will occur over time. If the ambient humidity is high, in the strong acid and alkali environment, it will also cause the performance of carbon fiber tubes to decline. If it enters from the cross-section, it will affect the overall performance of the carbon fiber tube, so that its performance is reduced, the chemical medium usually permeates and diffuses along the surface - interface - internal direction, and the product precipitation and loss after corrosion will change the internal and external surface topography of the composite material.

     Although the carbon fiber pipe will age, the speed of aging will be very slow, its overall life is still much higher than the metal pipe. The service life of a carbon fiber tube is 10-20 years, after which another one can be replaced to ensure its stable performance.
