Product Description
What is pultrusion method to make carbon fiber rod and angles?
Pultrusion method is a thermo setting composite material forming method. Refers to the method of continuous production by dipping, extruding, heating and curing, cutting to length and continuously producing carbon fiber rod, carbon tube, and carbon fibre shaped profiles of carbon fiber roving or its refined material under external force traction.
It passes the impregnated continuous fiber through a forming mold with a certain cross-sectional shape, solidifies and forms in the mold cavity or gels in the mold cavity, and exits the mold and heats and cures. Under the action of traction mechanical tension, it can continuously draw out infinite length profiles. This production method has high efficiency and low cost, which is very suitable for mass production.
